Internet Archive & Wayback Machine

I want to write about Internet Archive and Wayback Machine. These two tools are so valuable and life changing.

Have you ever went to open something on the internet and found that the link was dead? This is especially aggravating when it is something you really need or really loved. Chances are if the webpage was “crawled by a spider” then Wayback Machine will have an archived copy of what the page looked like, or a copy of the file. This is one of the best internet research tools that I can tell you about. I have been able to locate articles, and past blog posts that have been relevant for me, my research, and my students.

Internet Archive is kind of like a digital library of books that are in the public domain. This is extremely useful for accessing books I used to have access to at my former school libraries. I mention it here first because I will post some of my favorite books in the future that you can access through Internet Archive. You can login with a Google account and borrow books, download, and print.
